Each entrée will serve up to 6 average appetites. If your family is smaller, we offer smaller pans so you can split your entrees into 2 containers at no extra charge.

When you come to a Dine by Design session we ask that you bring a cooler or laundry basket to carry your entrees home in.

Dine by Design is a chance for you to have some adult time. We encourage that if you have children that you schedule a parent / child private party with a group of friends. For our regular sessions children must be 12 or older to attend and we ask that you bring only one child with you.

You can but we don't recommend it. You will be able to cut your cooking time almost in half by allowing your entrees to thaw first. In addition to saving energy, you will have a product that is moist and taste fresher.

Food safety is our primary concern. Before you begin assembling your entrees we ask that you wash your hands at our conveniently located hand sink. We ask you to wear gloves while assembling the ingredients to your entrees to avoid cross contamination.

Yes. At Dine by Design we would be happy to arrange a private session for your family and friends. We recommend a minimum of 8 orders for a private party. You will receive a private password for all of your family and friends to use when placing their orders. The host will also receive a discount on their order for scheduling a private party. Please call to arrange your private party.

If you are doing a 12 entree session, we ask that you bring only one friend with you to help assemble your entrees, and if you are assembling 6 meals we ask that only one person do the assembly. This will allow for a more comfortable and fun experience for everyone.

If you are not able to attend your kitchen session, we would be happy to reschedule you for another date or change you to one of our pick-up or delivery sessions. A two day notice is required to change your order. A cancellation fee will apply to orders not rescheduled.

A:

Yes. You can modify your recipe to suit your family’s taste buds. If your family does not like a particular spice or ingredient it can be left out. It can be modified with the assistance of our own staff dietitian if there is a medical condition or if your following a particular diet.

Our menu changes monthly. Except for a few “favorites” which may be repeated as often as every few months, you will have the opportunity to always try new things.

Dine by Design has experience with preparing vegetarian entrees. If you would like to request vegetarian substitutions, it is recommended that you request it on the registration form or call three days in advance so that we are able to accommodate you.

A:

Because all food we order is non-returnable, and since we must order all food in advance of each scheduled session, we cannot issue refunds for any cancellation that occurs three days or less before a scheduled session. However, if you must cancel less than three days prior to your session, for an extra $30.00 we would be happy to assemble your entrees for later pickup. Any entree not claimed within 48 hours will be delivered to a local shelter.
